We change New Zealanders’ lives with adult learning

How we change lives
We have taught literacy, numeracy, language, and digital skills to adults through small group classes, one-to-one support and workplace and community programmes for more than 60 years. We are a charitable trust, working in 30+ locations with partners in government, industry and community, always honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and upholding tino rangatiratanga.

Literacy supports everyone to reach their potential.
Interwoven with social and cultural practices
Literacy includes listening, speaking, reading, writing, numeracy and critical thinking, interwoven with the knowledge of social and cultural practices.
Lift the ambitions of people, businesses and communities
Through our nationwide network of communities and workplace tutors, we help lift the ambitions, achievements and productivity of thousands of New Zealanders and businesses.
