Travelling Books

Have you read a Travelling Book from NZ Post & Literacy Aotearoa?  When you are finished, just leave it in a safe and dry public place for someone else to find, read and pass on.  Please send us some feedback:

► Where did you find the book?
► Did you read the book to someone else?
► Have you passed the book on to someone else to keep it travelling?

Hiya
I received the book 'Trust' from Southland Adult Learning Centre.  I thoroughly enjoyed the book and hearing of the stories of the young women.  Yes, I passed it on to a work colleague in Gore.
Kind regards, Gillian
I found Rebel with a Cause in a Taupo cafe while on holiday.  I am back in Auckland and working my way through it.  I will be sure to pass it on!  Thanks, Andrea.

Background

The Travelling Books launch took place on Thursday evening [11 Here turi koka (August)] at NZ Post House, 7 Waterloo Quay, in Wellington.

The books, all by New Zealand authors, have been purchased by Literacy Aotearoa with support from New Zealand Post – and boxes of around 50 assorted books will be delivered to 45 Literacy Aotearoa local providers throughout New Zealand.

The books, which have been released throughout New Zealand, include both fiction and non-fiction,  for children and adults.  Random House, Huia Publishers and Scholastic gave great discounts on the books purchased for the Travelling Books project.
