FundingLiteracy Aotearoa is funded by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) to develop and deliver tailored literacy, language and numeracy programmes throughout New Zealand. One example is the TEC Employer-Led Workplace Literacy funding. One collaboration will assist 54 learners over a two-year period in North Otago. At present six North Otago businesses are collaborating in the programme. The Waitaki Resource Recovery Trust is the lead business, having received the funding and they have contracted Literacy North Otago to deliver the service. Read more...
