This beautiful logo was designed by Aroha Mitchell and the concept of the design is:

The Koru depicts growth, knowledge and lifelong learning. The Whāriki (weaving) depicts bringing people and learning philosophies together. It also depicts sharing knowledge. The open book invites people to enjoy learning. The circular sweep depicts the world encompassing and supporting the growth of knowledge. Ranginui (the sky) and Papatūānuku (the earth) are depicted in the colours of blue and green.
