Community Literacy

Literacy Aotearoa delivers literacy services through a wide range of programmes.  Last year, by far the greatest number of students received services through the Community Volunteer Programmes of Ngā Poupou (member providers) in city and rural communities throughout the country. The services are provided at no cost to the learner, in group or one-to-one settings, and are confidential. To find a provider near you, click here.

The students participating in these programmes experience learning achievements that impact positively on their families, their workplaces and their communities.
